Chef Jeff
He was some stranger that ended up boozing with Anders and I in the Mirage book long after all the Saturday games had ended. Good times - I was so torn up I could not do the last Jaeger shot.

I remember Drew from Mike's Jamaica party in Durham, but who is Chef Jeff?
Chris
Is the first weekend of the men's NCAA basketball tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America.
I think I am going to stick with my previously arranged accommodations in my favorite dive hotel off the strip across the street from the Hard Rock. No, it is not the strip club across from the Hard Rock, but a reputable hotelier.
That being said, I plan on hitting the sports book with everyone and partying in the big suite. I also promise to pace myself on Saturday so as to pull an all nighter with Chef Jeff and Anders.
I arrive Wednesday evening and depart Sunday morning.
Looking forward to it.
Drew
The following people are confirmed for the Vegas trip...
Mike and Anders have booked their air travel...
One more quick note - in addition to comments, if you want to make your own post (looking for roommates, asking about games/casinos, picking on Small) you can send an e-mail to the following address:
The Mirage has 18 two-bedroom suites available (like the one pictured below) for March 14-18. Each suite has two king-size beds. The couch is not a pullout, but the staff can bring in one rollaway. The Mirage limits each suite to a maximum of six people. Rates are $750/night for March 14 and 15 and $875/night for March 16 and 17 for a total of $3,531.60 per suite for the four nights (including tax). The best and easiest case is if we have six people for all four nights and the sleeping arrangements are first come, first served. Then the per person, per night cost would be $147.15 per night. I was able to do the math because I went to Duke.
I think we can cheat on that "six maximum" some if we want to, but we'd have to share room keys somehow.
The carrying capacity of the Mirage suite depends on some variables like cots and whether the couch is a pullout, but Mike and I will look into that. There are two bedrooms with a large common area in between. Mike and I are fine with everybody fending for themselves and sharing the cost based solely on the number of nights each person is there, or we can take the two bedrooms and offer a discount to those people that don't get a room.

I have not booked my flights yet but I’m likely to arrive Wednesday night and leave on Sunday (potentially the red-eye). Mike and I still want to do a huge suite and invite everybody to go in with us on it and crash there. We stayed at the Mirage for one night on a trip back from LA recently and got a free upgrade, and the suite was awesome. So Mike and I are definitely in.
